Resin and Alcohol Ink Workshop

CANCELED :(

Two-Day, Group Workshop in boulder, colorado

March 28–29, 2020

Day One | MARCH 28, 9am–12pm

We’ll start out by going through the safety measures that should be considered when working with resin. I’ll give a full explanation of the supplies I use day to day as well as the basics to working with resin and how to best ensure you get a crystal-clear coat every time. We’ll walk through the process of adding alcohol ink into resin and also discuss various techniques that can be achieved. Once the demonstration is complete, you’ll have the chance to create your own artwork! All needed supplies will be provided.

Day Two | March 29, 10am–12pm

We’ll reconvene the next morning and unmold the artwork we made the previous day. I’ll demonstrate how to apply a top coat and avoid those pesky drips from forming on the bottom. We’ll also discuss how to use resin to topcoat wooden panels and tiles. Lastly, we’ll go over any remaining questions.
